The Finish Line "Pelling Protector / Pelling Pacifier" is available as an add-on to any of our current or custom horse hoods.

PROTECTOR
It protects the horse's eyes from flying debris such as dirt clods found on the race track, including a misplaced jockey bat. Protection is offered from mallets or ball injuries in POLO or POLO CROSS events. It also protects from buckles and other loose flying objects including lariats (ropers take note) used in rodeo events.

PACIFIER
Successfully used for horses with nervous conditions such as stall weaving, or even horses that shy away from sudden movements or the flash of cameras at indoor arena events. It filters out light for horses with eye injuries like those with the inability to blink or sensitivity to bright sunlight or arena and track overhead lighting.

MOUNTED POLICE AND VETERINARIAN
